Prabhat Ranjan is an ICAI-registered Chartered Accountancy and business consultancy practice headquartered in Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar. Over the past 15+ years we have grown from a single-desk practice into a full-service firm serving more than 500 active clients — proprietorships, partnership firms, LLPs, Private Limited companies, OPCs, HUFs, trusts, societies, and individual taxpayers — across every state in India and from the NRI community in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Canada and Australia. Our origin story and mission
The practice was founded with a simple observation: small and medium businesses in India routinely lose lakhs of rupees every year because they receive either no professional advice or wrong professional advice. A trader pays GST late and loses input tax credit. A startup picks the wrong company structure and pays double tax. A factory owner submits an under-prepared CMA and gets a loan rejected. A salaried professional ignores Form 10-IEA and pays ₹50,000 of avoidable tax. These are not small problems — they compound into life-changing amounts over a decade. We started this practice to systematically eliminate exactly these mistakes for our clients, and to make qualified Chartered Accountancy advice accessible, affordable and reliable for every business in India, especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets that have historically been underserved.

How we work — our delivery model
We have built our practice around three principles: responsiveness, accuracy and transparency. Responsiveness means we reply to every email, WhatsApp and call within one working day — usually within hours during business time. Accuracy means every return, audit report and project report is reviewed by at least two CAs before it leaves our office. Transparency means we give a written, fixed-fee quote before any work starts, send you a copy of every government acknowledgement, and explain every notice in plain language.
Document collection happens through a secure, encrypted cloud portal with role-based access. You upload once, we use them everywhere — GST, ITR, ROC, audit — without asking you to send the same PAN ten times. Communication happens on whichever channel you prefer — WhatsApp, email, phone, video call. Filing happens well before the statutory due date, never at the last minute. Notice handling happens the same day the notice arrives, with a CA-signed reply uploaded within the statutory window.
Trust, ethics and confidentiality
Every engagement begins with a written engagement letter and Non-Disclosure Agreement. Our staff is contractually bound by ICAI's Code of Ethics and our firm-level confidentiality protocols. We never use client data for any purpose outside the engagement, never share it with third parties without written consent, and never participate in tax evasion, fake invoicing, circular trading or any form of fraudulent compliance. If a prospective client asks us to do something that crosses an ethical line, we politely decline and recommend they look elsewhere — your good name and ours are non-negotiable assets we will not compromise for any fee.
Our data infrastructure uses encrypted-at-rest cloud storage, two-factor authentication on every staff account, segregated client folders with audit trails, and strict offboarding protocols for departing employees. Physical documents are stored in fire-resistant cabinets and returned to clients on engagement closure.
